Each one of us has their own personal weaknesses or flaws, and with a good reason to have them. Those weaknesses that you have, has an important part of your personal growth, as well as opportunity for doing what it takes in order to help you shape your life to a better place with or without those weaknesses, according to what you will be providing yourself as an opportunity to handle them. When you take the time to understand your weaknesses, it is up to you, it is your choice if you are willing to accept them as something that will be with you, move along with you without any reason to work and change few of them, or knowing that it will serve you better once you will decide to take on yourself the work to change them. After all, some weaknesses can stay with us, to remind us about our vulnerability, yet fully acceptance of who you are without any shame, guilt or embarrassment, and other weaknesses that you have the personal understanding that as you will overcome them, you will place yourself in a better place, and more appreciate for what you can create and achieve with your life.
Knowing your weaknesses is part of your good strength and good character personality, because you care enough to connect with your uncomfortable inner place, so you will be able to accept yourself with forgiveness, compassion and personal understanding the combination between what you see in yourself as good characters to what you see that you have as weaknesses. Find your weaknesses points characters as well as identify what is your immediate defense mechanism to avoid facing them ? This awareness will provide you with what truly you are avoiding facing, or with what actually holding you back. From here, you will understand for yourself what are the actions that you need to stop doing, what is the attention to heal yourself from keep repeating the same flaws over and over again, and preventing you from moving forward with your life. For example pride about yourself as if you are the best in what you are doing, or jealousy in others are examples of personal weaknesses that each one should work to change. Gossip is not weakness but a very negative habit that only those that are not happy gossip about others.
Recognize your weaknesses give you the choice to handle them according to your personal advantage. Yes, some self awareness of personal weaknesses give you the confidante to reach out for support, help or to collaborate with another person that has the opposite character, and can complete you in a better way. Knowing what you need to create, change or work on, doesn’t mean that it is something negative side of you, but by identify them instead of ignoring them, you will be more open to share your whole self as one unit without worry to impress someone and working hard to hide something from every one.
