There is a cohesion correlation between what each one hold from their past, to how it can effect their actions in this present moment of their life, as well as how the future will affect them as one unit. This union of long chain can be broken when you take your personal care and attention to look inwards, and to make a realistic observation regarding some significant events from your past. If those events from your past are still bring up uncomfortable emotions or unsettling feelings, then it is the obvious reason that you need to find the way and to do the personal work to face and to heal your life with your connection to some past events that not allowing you be more presence in your life, even at this present moment.
Part of you in some capacity is not ready or not aware for how much you are still holding to your past, unaware unconsciously for what still you are carrying within you, and not realize that you don’t want or ready to let go of it, even if your words express differently, but your actions actually pointing out to those past events that preventing you from re-shaping yourself, letting you remove those shells, pill out the rust from any emotions, so those emotions will flourish back, better layers will be reveled from within you, and your free self spirit can once again move forward to new growth, without any limitation or restrictions you have train yourself to be under, only because of the long-term “relationship” you have had with your past, and by letting go, you don’t think that it is possible, you know from your Heart place that it is possible.
Perhaps you are too criticizing yourself, too hard on yourself, and as a result have trained yourself to demand so much from yourself because of those past events, where it might be that the simple way to move on is simply to forgive yourself knowing that you learn your lesson and moving forward that lesson will be as a positive reminded, not as a warning, for what you know better from yourself, from your Heart center, to give you the chance to make peace with your past, but more important that you are not that person any more. For example, if someone took the road to stop using alcohol as their medicine with honest intention, then while from one hand there is the personal reminded of the negative effects that the alcohol provide them, on the other hand there is the positive affect for the liberation that open life opportunities become more realistic and more valuable in their life, and no more volatile. It is that inner work that one take upon themselves to do in any way and support they choose to do, that will unlock them from holding the heavy weight of their past, especially when it was something that they were un-aware that it is still holding to them, and keep shaping their actions and the decisions they make in their life.
That personal healing work provide you with the oneness you crave to have with yourself. Consider this as pure solidarity between the different chapters of your life, knowing that all those chapters are related, connected and significant for you, creating your full book of life. You are not giving up on someone that used to be you, or try to run away from your past, but you are holding fortitude, from the center of your Heart, in a level that the inner trust that was, was never lost, and knowing that there is a hidden cliff where the sun is shining for the ability of knowing better, just because of many positive past events that you were able to conquer and conquest.
