Sometimes someone will come to you and will tell you something which by the way that person deliberate and share the information, your immediate intention is to believe that individual right away and the worse to react according to what you have just heard. From a mindfulness perspective this type of actions should not take place because the results can hurt someone else which their voice or their side of the story was not presented, as well in order for you to balance between what is facts or for what was misleading, what is false or what misinterpret, what was done or what not happen. Mindfulness approach tells you to not believe anything you hear until you truly learn all facts from all those that involve. This is not asking you to confront others, but to approach the solution by first allowing all those that are involve to share their side. If you jump to come up with an immediate solution, after hearing one side you fall into a personal judgment which can create for some, without any wrong doing, an outcome that will be hard for them to overcome from that. Therefore, you should not rush to have your personal conclusions if you educated yourself first with all the facts and get to the bottom of the story to know what is really behind, is the simple truth. In the story of Romeo and Juliet, when Romeo hear that Juliet has died he decide to end his life, not realizing that she is in a sense of a coma. Like that, in life, there will be those events which the truth is not by open person, or the persuasion of one person without allowing the other side to tell their side. This is where it is very important to keep an open mind and an open heart and not to let your empathy to rule by one side. Using the tool of empathy as identifying with one side, before collecting all the evidences and the facts, before hearing all parties and searching to educate yourself, before providing equal space to share all the information, before taking some time to analyze all the facts, that empathy can create wrong doing for someone. This personal behavior of the one who hear and rush to act, will lead to blame and judge someone for the wrong reasons. This rule can be practice well by a good parent or a good teacher which know to give the benefit of a doubt for the other side. Working like that give you the place to observe with open Heart and not to limit yourself for any personal impression you have. Those measures of practice will help you to provide honest results and not to let you carry any burden because of false emotions which you were trying to eliminate. In the social media that we live in, when news are coming in different topics, it is good to make sure that your Heart has the peaceful balance to allow the truth to be hear.
